Tamper, steel handle 8" x 8" Tampers are used to flatten and smooth dirt, stone, asphalt, and other materials and come in two different styles. Our Tamper with an Ash Handle has a 8" x 8" cast iron base and a 43" ash handle. The Welded Dirt Tampers have a steel pipe construction with welded gussets for increased strength. The 48" handle may be filled with sand for added weight. You have your choice of a 8" x 8" or 10" x 10" base. Our contractor-grade QLT Tampers come in the same sizes as our Welded Dirt Tampers and also have a 48" handle. It has a 10" rubber grip for a better hold.

Shipping and handling fees depend upon the number of items ordered and the method of delivery that is selected. Domestic standard shipments are processed through USPS, UPS or FedEx. Some larger orders may require LTL freight.
